An ingredient used to create a physical sunscreen barrier. Sun Barriers works by reflecting the suns rays away from the skin. It is active across a wide wavelength with good coverage in the UVA range. You’ll need to formulate and test your own product if using this ingredient.
This Zinc Oxide consists of fine particles that enable formulation of a cosmetically elegant product.
Particle Size
Between 0.1 micron to 0.8 microns. This zinc oxide is powdered at manufactured to be larger than nano-particle in size, however, it cannot be guaranteed that there is no nano-particle sized zinc oxide contained.
